We all have those days. Sometimes you just can’t see the end goal and you wonder why bother. Laziness takes over for a moment which then transforms into a few hours and before you know it a whole day has passed. Why bother indeed. But that’s okay, because everyone has those days and they’re a part of life. They help us to grow and see what areas we need to improve upon.
Sometimes all we need is a little push to get back on track, so I’ve put together a few ways in which we can do this! If you have any comments or suggestions, please leave them in the comments!
Keep track of your progress. Nothing says progress like actually monitoring progress and seeing that you’ve progressed. (Yes I used the word ‘progress’ too much just then). Monitor how far you’ve come every week to ensure that things are moving forward.
Keep your goals in mind. Try to remember why you’re doing something. What’s the end game for you? If you really want something, searching how to stay motivated, and therefore reading lists like this, shows that you’re wanting to go for it.
YouTube is great for motivational videos. Try to watch a few when you’re really feeling down. I’ve linked one that always pushes me. Take a look.
Take regular breaks. As they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day, so don’t worry about slow progress because any progress is good progress. And by taking a break often, your brain can focus more efficiently.
Now I’m not suggesting becoming a caffeine-junky but a small amount of caffeine won’t hurt. In fact, it will give you the boost you need.
